3.2 Psychological Emergencies

Original Date of Issue: 3/21/79
Revised:

On occasion, a student who is enrolled in the College exhibits some behavior which raises concern about the student’s ability to benefit from our educational offerings. When the student evidences some psychological disturbance, it may be suggested that the student seek professional assistance and/or be asked to withdraw from the institution.

If the student does not agree to withdraw from the institution and it is deemed necessary that the student, for his or her welfare or the health, safety, and welfare of the College community, needs to be dismissed, then a due process hearing will be conducted.
