Funded through the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA), Act 101 supports academic readiness and provides financial assistance for eligible PA residents.  During the summer, the Program offers an intensive seven-week program that includes free transitional courses and helps make the start of college life a smooth and meaningful experience. During fall and spring semesters, the Program offers professional counseling, tutoring in subjects such as reading, writing, and mathematics, and study skills workshops for program participants.
